The City Voice – SidraTarbut Festival

The cannons have been roaring for a long time, and the muses? They've grown tired of being silent.

On a special evening, on a hill near the walls of the Old City, we will hear and share the voices of Jerusalem. The voices of a city where the sacred and the profane, the sublime and the base, are intertwined. Heavenly and shadowy voices, voices of beauty and grandeur, voices of cries. In a city where people from all over the world mix together, where every piece of land belongs to a different state and a separate continent, we will hear the unique voices of the women and men of Jerusalem crying out together in a prayer for peace. At the Confederation House, which unites cultures and worlds, once Abdullah's House belonging to the servants of God, once St. George's Monastery, we will gather to raise the voice of Jerusalem from the depths of the earth to the skies, in the opening performance of "SidraTarbut 2024."
